I was given a book on Bible illustrations from the workshop of Lucas Cranach (L.C.) from 1534.

Fascinating woodcuts about Hell and Damnation. I myself grew up with a kid friendly  bible of Catholicism : a shocking contrast. I have made a large number of paintings about the landscapes depicted in these medieval woodcuts, Executed in pastels, acrylics and embroidery
